Design engineer (m/f/d)

We would like to fill the following full-time position as soon as possible: Design engineer (m/f/d)

What are your tasks:

Developing and designing new next-generation products taking into account customer requirements, technical specifications and regulatory requirements
Creating detailed design drawings and technical documentation using CAD systems
Conducting feasibility studies and evaluating design alternatives
Consideration of manufacturing and assembly aspects as well as cost and time constraints during the design process
Close cooperation with other departments such as product management, manufacturing and quality assurance to ensure smooth implementation of the designs
Conducting tests and analyses to check the functionality and performance of the designs and make adjustments if necessary
Compliance with standards and guidelines and ensuring the conformity of designs with relevant standards
Active participation in development meetings and presentation of design concepts and progress
Continuous development of design methods and processes as well as identification of optimization potential
Documentation and reporting on the progress of the construction projects to the relevant stakeholders

What do you bring:

Completed studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar with professional experience as a designer
First experiences in the development and design of technical injection-molded articles
Sound knowledge and experience in the design and development of technical products
Expertise in using CAD software, especially SolidWorks
Familiarity with technical standards and guidelines as well as experience in preparing drawings in accordance with standards (ISO-GPS)
Analytical skills to evaluate design problems and develop efficient solutions
Independent working style and initiative in the implementation of projects
Ideally professional experience in product development or design, preferably in a relevant industrial sector
Good knowledge of English in order to communicate in an international environment and, if necessary, to read and write technical documentation
